Our Teachers

  • Leah Margerum

Leah began practicing yoga in 2006 seeking relief from persistent back pain from multiple lumbar disc herniations. She found relief, and also unexpectedly fell in love with how the practice made her feel not just physically but mentally. As a mom of four usually hungry boys, the practice of yoga gave her a space to recharge! She took her first yoga training in 2016 and opened Willow Yoga with Monica the following year. She loves to learn and has continued her yoga education taking classes locally and online. She especially loves teaching the anatomy portion of our teacher training program. Her classes are often anatomy focused and filled with interesting tidbits of information about the body!

  • Monica Kirchner (E-RYT500)

Monica has been teaching yoga since 2004. She began her teaching in gyms and fitness centers. After five years she had the opportunity to open her own studio. In May 2009 she began Bridge Yoga Studio. In 2017 she closed Bridge Yoga and together with Leah, they opened Willow Yoga Studio. Monica believes that yoga is really for everyBody. She likes to teach slower paced classes that focus on alignment and finding mind-body connection. She also enjoys teaching chair yoga as well as restorative yoga.

  • Teri Butson (RYT500)

  • Robyn Ward

My yoga journey started with VHS tapes with my mom in our living room as a teenager. She did yoga as a way to stay mentally and physically healthy, and passed that value onto me. I’ve been doing yoga on & off since then, often finding it when I need to come back home to myself, to reconnect to my soul. Because I find it so valuable, I want to pass yoga onto others so they can experience the same mental, physical and spiritual benefits as I have.
